Triethylene Glycol Di-2-ethylhexoate
Triethylene Glycol Di-2-ethylhexoate
Triethylene Glycol Di-2-ethylhexoate (3GO) is a colorless and transparent oily liquid with the molecular formula C22H4206, a molecular weight of 402.565, a density of 0.976g/cm ³ at 25℃, a boiling point of 463.5℃, and a flash point of 194.6℃.
It is a solvent-based cold-resistant and environmentally friendly plasticizer, featuring excellent low-temperature performance, durability, oil resistance, UV resistance and antistatic properties, as well as low viscosity and certain lubricity. It is soluble in many organic solvents but insoluble in mineral oil.

It is widely used in PVB safety films, synthetic rubber, vinyl resin, PVC, PS, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, polyethylene latex paint, industrial coating, sealing materials, and also in butadiene-acrylonitrile oil-resistant synthetic rubber, etc.
This product is currently the best plasticizer for polyvinyl acetal (PVB safety film) and synthetic rubber, which can endow them with excellent low-temperature performance and low volatility. When used as a butylaldehyde fabric-based coating of polyvinyl alcohol containing castor oil, it can significantly improve the flexibility under severe cold conditions.
