Dioctyl Phthalate
Diphenylphthalate is a slightly odorous, oily, transparent liquid with the molecular formula C24H38O4, a molecular weight of 390.5, a relative density (d20) of 0.986, and a water solubility of ≤ 0.01% (at 25℃). It is one of the most widely used plasticizers, with excellent comprehensive properties, and has good compatibility with polyethylene, synthetic resins, nitrocellulose, and rubber. It is widely used in the processing of various soft plastic products made of PVC, such as films, artificial leather, wires, cables, molded products, etc.; it is also widely used in the industries of rubber, paints, and emulsifiers, which can improve the resilience of the products, reduce compression permanent deformation, and have no effect on the vulcanization of the rubber.
